Marie-Paule is Austrian and founded Materre in 2024. Deeply connected to everything Materre represents at its core, she sees it as more than a concept, but as an entire universe she envisions bringing to life in this lifetime.

Surrounded by constant stimulation, pressure, and the need to optimise every aspect of life, we risk losing touch with something essential: our intuition, sensitivity, and individuality.”

To Marie, wellbeing is not about perfection or control, but about slowing down, listening inward, and creating space for inspiration to unfold naturally.

Raised within the luxury industry, Marie experienced the power of beauty and inspiration, but also recognised the need for a new kind of luxury rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and trust.
